POLOKWANE – GUNNERS FC are back on their winning streak, beating All Rising Stars 5-1 at the Boiketlo sports grounds on Sunday during their Polokwane Local Football Association (Polfa) match.
Gunners dominated the match from the first blow of the whistle and Katlego Ramahuta scored the first goal within the first five minutes of the match.
All Rising Stars head coach, Mosima Lekganyane, said the game was fair.
“If you don’t use the chances you get, you won’t win in the end. We did not use our left and right wings to attack, but we used the midfield to attack.
“The players managed to maintain the pressure, but we were not lucky.
“The composure was not right, but we will deal with that as the technical staff,” said Lekganyane.
Wilfred Molepo, Gunners head coach, said everything went according to plan.
“The players played very well and I am impressed with their performance. I focused on them scoring more goals. I am very happy with this victory.
“We will not sit and relax, we will focus on collecting maximum points,” said Molepo.
