SA rhythmic gymnastics champ visits Gymstars
Julene van Rooyen, a South African rhythmic gymnastics champion visited Gymstars gymnasts on Saturday, when she presented a three-day workshop.
POLOKWANE – Julene van Rooyen, a South African rhythmic gymnastics champion visited Gymstars gymnasts on Saturday, when she presented a three-day workshop.
“Julene’s experience and talent proved as valuable teachings for the gymnasts form Gymstars throughout the weekend,” said Lelanie Logtenberg, Gymstars coach.
Julene taught the gymnasts new techniques and put them through their paces by refining and polishing the routines needed for competitions and championships.
Level 3, 4 and 5 gymnasts participated in the workshop and they said they learned valuable information and techniques regarding gymnastics.
“The gymnasts can walk away from the workshop with renewed motivation and an even greater love for the sport, helping them to work harder on their gymnastics,” said Julene.
