Golfers endure the heat for a match
The PG Glass betterball stableford golf challenge was played at the Polokwane Golf Club last Wednesday.
POLOKWANE – The PG Glass betterball stableford golf challenge was played at the Polokwane Golf Club last Wednesday.
Some 74 players competed in the challenge and endured the scorching heat for a great day on the greens.
Results:
1. Hannes van der Heever and Piet Bronkhorst won with 47 points.
2. Martin van Ghent and Llewellyn Prenzler won with 46 points.
3. Fanus De Beer and Theuns van Tonder won with 45 points.
The jackpot was drawn by Glen Wynne and the winner of the jackpot was Phala Mosomane, who won R900.
Thabo Shingange won the prize for the longest drive and the two players who played nearest to the pin were Piet du Toit and Nelis Brits.
The PG ball winners were Danie Bouwer (snr), Danie Bouwer (jnr), Martin van Oneslen and Jacques Scheepers.
