All aboard the Rekaofela

POLOKWANE – THE Rekaofela fan bus will make a stop in Polokwane this weekend when Polokwane City FC will welcome Bloemfontein Celtic for their Absa Premiership encounter at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex on Saturday.

This Rekaofela initiative was launched at the start of the 2014/15 season to reignite the passion for live matches among local football fans.

“We want to speak to the heart of soccer loving supporters and remind them of the experience that comes with watching live football.

“The Rekaofela fan bus will provide those on board with the ultimate fan experience. The bus itself is fully customised with free Wi-Fi, and PlayStation games. There will also be legends such as Lucas Radebe to accompany football fans to the stadium,” says Absa’s Craig van Niekerk.

“It’s important for us to have football fans at stadiums. It inspires the players to push for excellence.”

Absa card-carrying supporters will be allowed to enjoy the Rekaofela fan bus experience.

“The Rekaofela fan bus experience is available exclusively to Absa customers and has been capturing the hearts and imaginations of soccer lovers in the country,” says Van Niekerk

Fanatical football fans in Polokwane will get a glimpse of the vibrantly branded mega bus that has been crisscrossing the length and breadth of South Africa this weekend.

Fans lucky enough to board the massive bus will have access to free Wi-Fi, fan merchandise, participate in the trivia competition and exclusive access to the Absa Premiership trophy.

Those lucky fans will be hosted by Absa Premiership and Barclays Premier League legend Lucas “Rhoo” Radebe and dozens of other local football legends.
