POLOKWANE – ONE goal in each half by Tebogo Cheu was enough to secure three points for Polokwane Local Football Association (Polfa) club, Dinoko FC, with a 2-1 win over All Rising Stars at Boiketlo sports grounds on Sunday.

The two teams started the match on a positive note and the score was at a draw of 1-1 at the end of the first half. Although they lost the game All Rising Stars dominated the match from the start.

Dinoko FC head coach, Charles Malebana, said the game went according to his plan.

“We were on top of things, we could have scored more goals, but I am not complaining. It is always a risk that, when you score more goals, you tend to neglect your defence, but we will correct that,” Malebana said.

All Rising Stars head coach Mosima Lekganyane said, “My players were not lucky today, and we missed some chances. We will go back to the drawing board to sort out these matters. We managed to contain the game from the first whistle up until the end. We put pressure on our opponent,” Lekganyane said.
