Kruinies golf day for a good cause

POLOKWANE – Curro Heuwelkruin presented a golf day at the Polokwane Golf Club last week.
The aim of the golf day was to raise funds for the school.
The day was well attended by supporters of the school and there was a friendly, competitive atmosphere.
The format of the golf day was a four-ball alliance scramble drive.
Nearest to the pin at hole eight was Morne Myburgh, and nearest to the pin at hole 16 was Theuns Botha.
The longest drives were played at hole seven by Brian O’Reilly and at hole 17 by Janneman Groenewald.
Results:
1. Tristan Schwim, Joe Mackays, Charles Mara and Randall Jooste with a total of 89 points.
2. Carel de Jager, Jacques de Jager, Theuns van Tonder and Johan Peyper with a total of 85 points on a count-in.
3. Dawid van der Walt, Morne Myburgh, Riaan Nel and Reinhardt Weidemann with a total of 85 points on a count-out.
