PPC Kremetart cycling race date changed
The date for this year's PPC Kremetart 175km stage race has been moved forward to June 6 and 7.
LOUIS TRICHARDT – The date for this year’s PPC Kremetart 175km stage race has been moved forward to June 6 and 7.
The race was initially scheduled for June 13 and 14, and according to a press release from the Kremetart Cycling management team, this was done to accommodate the Vet’s Tour in Mpumalanga from June 13 to 16.
“According to Cycling SA, UCI events and the appointment of commissars for such races takes priority in national cycling events. All Kremetart Cycling and P&L Cycling Club races are fully sanctioned and comply with CSA rules and regulations.
“There will be enough commissars to cover both events on the amended dates,” read the press release.
The Kremetart 175km stage race, the Kremetart 70km road race, the KFC 10km fun ride and the KFC kiddies race will take place on June 6, while the Total MTB XCO will take place on June 7.
