BLACK Leopards must win their last match against African Warriors at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday if they want to qualify for the play-offs.
LIMPOPO – BLACK Leopards must win their last match against African Warriors at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday if they want to qualify for the play-offs.
Lidoda Duvha are in third position in the National first Division league (NFD) with 48 points, Cosmos are in second position with 50 points and Golden Arrows are shining on top with 57 points and will play in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) next season.
Both Thanda Royal Zulu FC and Cape Town All Stars have 47 points, and anything can happen. Thanda Royal Zulu will clash with Garankuwa United at home at Umhlathuze Sports Complex on Sunday, where the team is expecting a large crowd of supporters.
Cape Town All Stars will also have a home-ground advantage when the team locks horns with Jomo Cosmos at Athlone Stadium.
Spokesperson for Black Leopards, Barry Ramunenyiwa, says it will not be an easy match against African Warriors, but since the second round of the NFD, Black Leopards has embarked on Operation Vat Alles.
He says this operation is still on and Lidoda Duvha must fight and defeat the visitors. “Our boys are committed to participate in the play-offs and players like Roggert Nyundu and Leonard Ntshangase are ready for the game. The coach and his technical team are working hard for the Sunday match.
“We have two injuries, Samuel Tefu and Marks Munyai, while Abubakar Mumuni is on suspention due to yellow cards,” said Ramunenyiwa.
