Kit and balls to help this school to promote sport among the learners

BESIDES learning and teaching, Tshivhidzo Masiagwala Secondary School in Maungani village outside Thohoyandou wants to promote different sporting codes among the learners.

LIMPOPO  – BESIDES learning and teaching, Tshivhidzo Masiagwala Secondary School in Maungani village outside Thohoyandou wants to promote different sporting codes among the learners.

But the learners do not have proper kit.

This all changed on Thursday when ISO-Q Consulting donated soccer and netball kit and balls to the school.

The school’s sports organiser, Petros Makhuvha, said: “some soccer players in the Premier Soccer League started playing soccer in school. We hope our learners also make it big.

“We are thankful for this generous donation, which will go a long way to promote sport in the school”.

ISO-Q Consulting business consultant, Grace Mukhudwana, said the donation was part of the company’s social responsibility programme in communities and schools around the country.

“We want to keep young people off the streets, and if we keep them busy, they will never abuse alcohol and drugs. Learners are our future leaders, and if we nurtured them well, we will have responsible leaders,” said Mukhudwana.
