Valke record win over Bulls
After an intense struggle during the last game of the 2014/15 Vodacom Cup season, Hino Valke claimed the victory after beating Assupol Limpopo Blue Bulls 38-27 at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.
POLOKWANE – After an intense struggle during the last game of the 2014/15 Vodacom Cup season, Hino Valke claimed the victory after beating Assupol Limpopo Blue Bulls 38-27 at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.
The Hino Valke scored six tries en route to their 27-38 victory over the Assupol Limpopo Blue Bulls.
The Valke held a comfortable 19-8 halftime lead and came back with a high spirit to score more points. The Bulls tried to match the Valke standard in the last minutes of the game. The game was played at a high pace with both teams aiming to score as many tries as possible, but there could only be one winner at the end of the game.
Charles van Wyk, Limpopo Blue Bulls office manager said it was a good a game and players played exceptionally well.
“We could have scored a lot more points but it seemed like lady luck was not on our side. We did well throughout the season and we managed to keep the scores against us low,” said Van Wyk.
He further thanked residents for supporting the team. He added that the team will start practicing as early as possible to prepare for the next season.
