Gymstars bag 33 medals at tournament
33 gymnasts from Gymstars Gymnastics competed in the Novice Team Trophy North Competition in Eldoraigne in Pretoria on May 8 and 9, where they returned with 33 medals.
POLOKWANE – 33 gymnasts from Gymstars Gymnastics competed in the Novice Team Trophy North Competition in Eldoraigne in Pretoria on May 8 and 9, where they returned with 33 medals. The gymnasts bagged 15 gold medals, 16 silver and two bronze medals.
Corlette Sedikane won the best u/11 level 1 gymnast prize, while the team made up of Duane Welman, Micaela Wood and Carmen Braack won the first prize for teams over 11 years old level 2.
“We are extremely proud of how the girls did in Eldoraigne. We will work and focus hard on the next competition, which is the Limpopo competition in Polokwane on May 29,” said Gymstars coach, Lelanie Logtenberg.
