LIMPOPO – The Seshego-based football club, All Rising Stars, managing director and head coach, Mosima Lekganyane, revealed that she has signed new players to the team to reinforce her squad for the coming season.
Lekganyane said the new players will be announced as soon as the paperwork is finalised.
“My boys are fully prepared for the new season. We finished the previous season in the sixth spot on the log with 18 points; this year I want to make sure we win all our home matches.
“We will not sit back and relax, we want to be ready to beat our opponents in our first match on 29 November,” Lekganyane said confidently.
“We are currently busy with the skills development of a 15-year-old player. We found that unearthing and developing young, talented players gives us the chance to teach them our team morals.
“We have already produced five players who now play at Benny’s Care Sports Academy and Molemole Sports Academy.
“One of our players has also been sent to the school of excellence in Turfloop.
“I am happy we get the chance to enrich and develop the lives of young boys in Seshego and the surrounding villages as this helps keep them off the streets and from a life of crime.
“I also aim to send more players to the National First Division and the Premier Soccer League teams like Black Leopards FC and Polokwane City FC,” she explained.
“The main aim of my current team is to win the Polokwane Local Football Association league and then get promoted to compete in the top league. By unearthing and teaching these young players, we teach them loyalty, both to factors in their lives and to the team,” Lekganyane concluded.
