POLOKWANE – Thys de Kock claimed victory at the Tops Liquor Golf Day at the Polokwane Golf Club last Wednesday.
The Tops Liquor Golf Day took place in an individual stableford format and 80 golfers took to the fairway to compete.
De Kock came first with a total of 45 points on a count-in, Fred Hurter came second with a total of 45 points on a count-out and Charlie Smith finished in third place with a total of 43 points. The nearest to the pin on hole four was Phil Mashakane, on hole eight Jeandre Britz, on hole 11 Sipho Talane and on hole 16 Raymond Mushaike.
The jackpot was drawn with no winner yet. The jackpot stands at 720 units with a payable amount of 570 units.
