94 Golfers take to the green for Lexus Golf Day
The Lexus Betterball Golf Challenge took place at the Polokwane Golf Club last Wednesday with a total of 94 golfers competing throughout the day.
POLOKWANE – The Lexus Betterball Golf Challenge took place at the Polokwane Golf Club last Wednesday with a total of 94 golfers competing throughout the day.
The winners of the day were:
• Charlie Smith and Willie Faver in first place with a total of 50 points,
• Willie Marx and Charlie Smith in second place with a total of 49 points,
• Jeandre Britz and Franco Putter in third place with a total of 49 points.
• The nearest to the pin on hole eight was by Kobie Smit and on hole 16 by Thabo Shingange.
• The longest drive on hole seven was by Duane Viljoen and on hole 17 by Thabo Shingange.
The jackpot was drawn at a total of 1 930 units with a payable amount of 1 540 units with Keith Badenhorst being the lucky winner.
