Like mother like daughter
WATCH: Megan Pretorius (12) is one of several 5 Star Fist Club members who tested their self defense skills at the Wing Chun Kung Fu/Self Defense Workshop offered by club owner, Jannie Calitz on Saturday and Sunday.
POLOKWANE – When asked if she minds taking part in a mainly male dominated sport she says it has allowed her to practice different means to protect herself and she does it for herself, and not for others.
Megan further explained that the sport runs in the family as her mother, who used to practice karate, urged her to join the club.

Wing Chun is a traditional Southern Chinese Kung Fu martial art specialising in close range combat. It is known for being economical, direct and efficient.
