#Asidlali excites soccer fans
A first for the province, Limpopo has had the opportunity of hosting the first ever MultiChoice Diski Challenge (PSL Reserve League) Festival #Asidlali.
POLOKWANE – This was held during the course of the weekend from Saturday, 27 January until Sunday, 28 January. The main aim of this challenge was to bring football a step closer to the communities.

The Diski Challenge has been seen in other parts of the country such as Umlazi, Kimberly, Mdantsane, Kanyamazane and a number of other areas.

The two day festival had spectators witnessing a range of skills from teams such as Bidvest Wits, Platinum Stars, Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, Free State Stars, Baroka FC, Polokwane City and Kaizer Chiefs.

With a total of five rounds of fixtures left in the season, Lamontville Golden Arrows are still leading the pack with 25 points from 11 matches. The youthful Golden Arrows squad is chasing their second Diski Challenge crown but amidst facing stiff competition from a number of clubs who are still within the shot.

The Golden Arrows are succeeded by Bloemfontein Celtics who are sitting on 22 points and Maritzburg United on 21 points. Completing the top four is Ajax Cape Town on 20 points.
The reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns are however having a season they would like to forget. Consequently, they are currently sitting on the bottom half of the log.
Results:
Bidvest Wits beat Platinum Star 2-1.
Orlando pirates beat Free State Stars 1-0.
Mamelodi Sundowns beat Baroka FC 2-0.
Kaizer Chiefs beat Polokwane City 2-0.
