Black Leopards fear they will face the axe at end of the season

Black Leopards have reason to believe that their chances to escape the relegation axe at the end of the season will be slim.

LIMPOPO – They are currently in the 15th spot on the log and their future as an affiliate of the GladAfrica Division is on the line.

Today (Wednesday) they will face Cape Town All Stars at the Idas Valley Sport Complex. Leopards’ last outing was a league defeat against Free State Stars last Sunday when they lost 1-0.

On Sunday, Leopards will once again be in action when they host City Platinum Stars at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Leopards coach Benson Mhlongo said they would go all out in their coming matches.

He warned their opponents not to expect any mercy.

Fellow Limpopo outfit Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) will host TS Sporting at the Thohoyandou Stadium today (Wednesday).

On Saturday they will visit the in-form Pretoria Callies at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

TTM coach Zeca Marque said they will work hard in training and he expects their strikers to be sharp shooters on Saturday.

Venda Football Academy will meet with Hungry Lions at Sivas Training Centre Stadium on Saturday.

VFA coach Johnny Ferreira said it is still possible for them to end at the top of the table.

He said their priority was to win the league, and should they fail to do that, they would be a disappointment to Limpopo side.
