Limpopo Impalas shine in 4-day series

POLOKWANE – Limpopo Impalas continued their rich form when they thrashed Eastern Storm Cricket Club by 63 runs to win their Cricket South Africa Domestic First Class series match at Willowmoore Park in Benoni on January 14.
Eastern Storm was able to accumulate 104 runs for the loss of six wickets, chasing a target of 250. The Limpopo Impalas needed four wickets to win, defending 146 runs which they did with aplomb.
Top performers in the team were their leading batsman Liam Peters and Sizwe Masondo who had played exceptionally well on the day.
Peters finished the match with 119 runs while Masondo scored 150 and 200 runs during the series.
