PHS matriculant Nadine Roos was in fine form at the Canada Sevens, which was played in Vancouver over the weekend.
POLOKWANE – Fans were left in awe after Hoërskool Pietersburg matriculant Nadine Roos, scored a try in all five matches played by the Springbok Women’s Sevens at the Vancouver Sevens.
The playmaker scored an scored an amazing 34 points in Canada – which includes a brace of tries against Brazil.
Renfred Dazel, the head coach for the national sevens side, told reporters that Roos sets the bar for other younger players in the squad by carrying out a significant leadership role in the team.
Roos had a good tournament despite a toll of injuries resulting the Bok women to drop to last place on the series standings.
Team co-captain Mathrin Simmers was quoted as saying that apart from being a really smart player, Roos is also a very nice person too.
