Lim Volleyball hosts league matches

The event featured 21 men's teams and nine women's teams, drawing participation from across the province.

POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Volleyball Association held its first league games at the Ngoako Ramatlhodi Sports Complex on Monday.

The event featured 21 men’s teams and nine women’s teams, drawing participation from across the province. Highly competitive performances and excellent sportsmanship were on display throughout the day.

Players showcased their talent, skills and volleyball techniques on the court while supporters cheered on their favourite teams.

LVA president Mahlodi Moila expressed gratitude and satisfaction with the turnout and the overall execution of the games.

“We are happy with the attendance shown by the teams and the great performance displayed. Although a few teams were unable to participate, it did not deter the games from proceeding successfully.”

Moila extended a special thanks to all stakeholders, including players, coaches, officials and the referees commission for their dedication in ensuring the event ran smoothly. “We believe there are still areas where we can improve, but we are confident that as we progress, we will refine our processes and build towards becoming the best volleyball league in the country,” he added.

The LVA is now looking forward to the next round of league matches on March 22 and encourages all teams to continue preparing for another exciting competition.
