POLOKWANE – GENERAL Motors South Africa (GMSA) has confirmed the imminent introduction of two new Opel vehicles to the South African market.
The new Opel Adam will be available for purchase in South Africa in January 2015 as part of a global product launch by Opel, with the new Opel Mokka to be available at a later date.
In Europe, Opel is investing heavily in the development of advanced new powertrain technology, which South African consumers will experience for the first time when the Adam and Mokka models arrive.
From next week, however, Polokwane residents can get a sneak preview of the Opel Adam where it will be available to view at Westvaal Polokwane.
The Opel Adam is named after the company’s founder, Adam Opel, and is a celebration of his visionary leadership and engineering prowess.
The Opel Adam is a premium sub-compact hatchback. It features a lifestyle-focused non-retro design inspired by the latest design cues from Opel.
Engines, specifications and model derivatives will be confirmed closer to the time of launch, according to GMSA.
