Kasi War on city’s black top
THE Polokwane Show Grounds played host to Polokwane Spin City's Gusheshe Spinning Kasi Wars on Saturday.
POLOKWANE – THE Polokwane Show Grounds played host to Polokwane Spin City’s Gusheshe Spinning Kasi Wars on Saturday.
Sponsors of the spinning wars included Energy FM, EMI Auto Parts and Global Oil.
Spinners included Jeff James from Soweto, Team Y and Sons and Eddie Boy from Polokwane, Team Swazi from Manzini, Team Fat Cat from Harare and Ziko from Venda.
Feroz Mohamed Cassim of Polokwane Spin City said, “the response was great. I believe that we gave the audience an unforgettable experience. With the commitment from team members the show was good and every spectator enjoyed it”.
Cassim said he started spinning cars in 2005.
“I was not a spinner until Jeff James from Soweto taught me how to spin. He is my mentor. We have been running spinning shows for the past four years and the support that we got from people is amazing and we hope that they won’t stop supporting us,” he said.
