Mapungubwe Gospel Fest bring big names to city

POLOKWANE – THE Polokwane Cricket Club was abuzz on Saturday during the Mapungubwe Gospel Festival.

Solly Mahlangu, Sipho Makhabane, Worship House, Go Explo, Lucia Hlabangwana, James Shimange and Nkele Mphahlele treated Gospel lovers to performances.

According to the MEC for sport, arts and culture, Nandi Ndalane, Limpopo had a lot to offer and that the main festival on Saturday would be something to remember.

“The festival will also contribute to Limpopo’s economic growth as we are expecting people from across the country,” said Ndalane.

She said there would be a battle of the DJs at Industrial Chisa Nyama tomorrow (Thursday) and the Mapungubwe Comedy on Friday at the Library Gardens auditorium.
