SESHEGO – THE Total Praise Gospel Concert, scheduled for last Saturday has been postponed to this Friday to accommodate the Healing Jesus Crusade by evangelist Dag Heward-Mills.
Dag Heward-Mills is a renowned evangelist and author with a ministerial career spanning over 25 years. He founded the Lighthouse Chapel International church in 1987 and the church now has over 1500 branches in 68 countries.
The crusade started last Thursday and ended last Saturday. It took place in Seshego’s zone 7.
Total Praise Gospel Concert organiser, Hlayisani Chauke, said his committee decided to postpone the concert after consultation with residents of Polokwane.
“We realised that it would not be a good idea to have two high profile Christian events on the same day. Therefore we postponed the gospel concert,” Chauke explains.
He says the line-up features some of the best artists in the South African contemporary gospel music including Ntokozo Mbambo, Mahalia Buchanan, Unathi Mzekeli, Ntabiseng Motsepe, Unathi Mzekeli, Tumelo Rakgoale, Pastor Peter Lebelo and local gospel artists.
“We seek to create events where music lovers will enjoy unforgettable live performances by their favourite artists and bands. We seek to produce live concerts and festivals that will provide concert attendees with memorable live music entertainment experiences. Our concerts and festivals bring together people from all walks of lives. We create opportunities for people to make new friendships, enlarge their social circles, mingle and have fun together,” says Chauke.
Tickets are available at Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers at R160 for ground floor tickets and R 100 for balcony seats.
The concert will take place at the Potter’s House Church in Smuts Road, Ivy Park, in Polokwane.
