SUZUKI Auto South Africa has improved the iconic Jimny off-roader with an array of changes and upgrades to both the exterior and interior, while an equipment upgrade has also been implemented.

For the first time, an automatic transmission is now also available as an alternative to the manual gearbox.

The introduction of a four-speed automatic transmission option for the Jimny will please owners who seek the convenience of clutchless operation, especially in urban traffic conditions, while also making the Jimny’s legendary off-road capability even easier.

The most obvious change to the Jimny is the fitment of new 15-inch alloy wheels, with a dark silver finish. The colour palette has also been revised and now includes two new colours; bison brown and khaki pearl metallic.

The cabin has also been spruced up, with an all-new instrument cluster as the primary feature. The Jimny’s interior features upgraded seat upholstery aimed at boosting both comfort and durability, while a new steering wheel design has also been introduced.

The updated Jimny is still powered by a lively, economical 1 328cc four-cylinder engine, with a maximum power output of 63kW at 6 000rpm and a torque peak of 110Nm at 4 100rpm.

The new updated Jimny is available at BB Polokwane Suzuki at 90 Landdros Maré Street. Contact them at (015) 297 0140.
