With Christmas Day just around the corner, children around the world have industriously been compiling gift wishlists.
But it seems there is no such thing as the average letter to Santa, as blog list25.com has revealed in a top-25 selection of the most hilarious missives.
Varying from the mundane to pure fantasy, each one demonstrates just how enchanted children are by the Christmas season.

Highlights include the more practically-focused notes. One youngster’s letter reads: ‘I am worried that my mummy’s house does not have a big enough chimney.’
Another instructs Santa to ‘please text my dad – he has my whole list.’

Poor Deaven, meanwhile, simply wants some confirmation that Santa exists, having been told by friends that this may not be the case.
