SESHEGO – ATTENDEES wanted to party on and not go home at the Deep House Session music event held at Seshego zone 3’s Kalawa Chisa Nyama on Sunday night.
The line up included the darlings of party animals, DJ Problem Child, DJ Vesta, DJ Lele, DJ Agree and DJ Sekgobela.
The brain behind the Deep House Session music event, Maropeng Tabane, said he wanted to turn Seshego into an entertainment hub and in so doing unite all of Seshego’s zones.
“I want to make sure that Seshego is a good place for entertainment and socialising, so that people don’t have to travel long distances to attend gigs in the city centre. I want to put Seshego on the entertainment map by bringing in top DJs to perform. Our main aim is to give a platform to local musicians, so that they can gain exposure and become famous. If we don’t support them, it will be like killing their music. Every top DJ starts from scratch.
This was not the last event of its kind, we still have more to come. Delivering entertainment that is of a very high standard is what gives us the cutting edge above other competitors in the market,” he said.
