LEARNERS and schools in Limpopo can win their share of R3,5 million in prizes in the Sunbake Back to School competition.
According to Louis Woller, Sunbake sales manager in Polokwane, the aim of the competition is to bring joy to children’s lives, especially those from poor families.
Woller says the Sunbake Back to School competition is an annual competition in which learners and schools can win fantastic prizes including:
• 10 HP desktop computers, with software and printers valued at R8 000 each for the winning schools (two each);
• 150 mountain bikes for winning learners, and
• 950 backpacks for winning learners.
“This competition is about helping children from less fortunate families. We want to give underprivileged children the opportunity to own a bicycle like other children of their age,” says Woller.
The Sunbake Back to School competition started on January 14 and will end on February 28.
To enter the competition, learners have to collect the promotional Sunbake bread bags and fill in the entry forms. The bags have to be dropped off at participating schools or in participating supermarkets.
“We will distribute 35 000 large clear bags with the Sunbake logo printed on each bag to facilitate bread bag collections at schools and supermarkets. We will also place branded cardboard bins at participating stores in which learners can put their entries,” Woller explains.
The five schools in Limpopo that collect the most promotional bread bags will each win two computers. The rest of the computers will go to the winning schools in other provinces.
The mountain bikes and backpacks will go to the winners of the weekly lucky draws that Sunbake will conduct during the run of the competition.
Step by step guide:
1. Collect marked Sunbake Back to School promotional bread bags.
2. Complete the entry form on every bag.
3. Drop the bread bags at your school or at a participating supermarket.
