POLOKWANE – JACOB Lebogo hosted a romantic pre-Valentine’s evening on Friday at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex.

He said he was passionate about sexual health and was an aspiring sexologist himself and renowned sex therapist Dr Eve was his role model.

“This habit of wearing political T-shirts when you go to sleep must come to an end. People must have fun in the bedroom and try new thing to spice things up,” he said.

Lebogo said he wanted people to stop being judgemental and to start celebrating their sexuality. He wanted to educate and empower people.

“People often cheat because the sex becomes boring. They need to know that having more than one partner will not bring excitement, it is what they do with their partner that will make them happier,” he explained.

Lebogo said many people did not believe that his business would thrive, but he was happy to see his target market growing and planned to open other branches soon.

Internationally accredited sex therapist, Dr Eve, talked about the importance of being sexually active, practicing safe sex and offered some tips.

“We want sex because it makes us feel great and connects us with our partners. We all love the feeling of pleasing someone and most important it improves our overall health.” she said.

She explained that a healthy relationship was based on trust, friendship, communication and intimacy.

She said there must be a mutual agreement between partners and no women should stay in an abusive relationship.
