POLOKWANE – BOSTON City Campus and Business College in Polokwane hosted an event called, pic ink at the Polokwane swimming pool last Thursday.

During the pic ink, students enjoyed a variety of activities such as a slip and slide. There was also a DJ who entertained them throughout the afternoon.

The branch manager, Melaney Beneke, said they wanted to build a family-like relationship among the students and they felt it was important that they got to know each other while it was still early days.

He said they wanted to develop the students so they could develop others.

“The college will host charity events and we want students to take part. We want to instil the culture of giving and show them that we need each other in order to function as a community.”

He said he believed that the pic ink would help them see each other as a family.

One of the students, Duncan Langa, said he only saw his classmates in class, but never spent time with them outside campus.
