Volkswagen’s top selling Vivo gets streetwise
Volkswagen has expanded and enhanced the Polo Vivo model range with an introduction of a special edition Polo Vivo Street.
POLOKWANE – Volkswagen has expanded and enhanced the Polo Vivo model range with an introduction of a special edition Polo Vivo Street. The sporty Polo Vivo GT’s exterior and interior features have been upgraded to give it even more contemporary looks and presence on the road.
The Polo Vivo Street special edition, which is only available in the hatch body variant, is offered with the 1.4 engine delivering 63kW of power.
The Polo Vivo Street can be distinguished with its exclusive interior and exterior features which include:
• Side mirrors painted in silver.
• 15-inch Cordoba alloy wheels.
• Lowered suspension (7mm).
• Silver double stripes on the bonnet and roof, as well as silver stripes on lower front and rear doors.
• Grey stitching on the leather steering wheel, gear lever and gaiter.
• ‘Kadra’ seat trim.
The Polo Vivo Street retails for R159 900 (VAT and emissions tax included).
The enhancement of the Polo Vivo GT include the replacement of the 15-inch alloy wheels with the 16-inch Rivazza alloy wheels, as well as the upgrade of the ‘Rocket’ seat trim to ‘Clark’ upholstery design.
The Style package is only offered with the 1.4 63kW Trendline, 1.6 77kW Trendline (sedan) and 1.6 77kW Comfortline derivatives.
Customers who individualise their Polo Vivo hatches and sedans with the Style package get features such as:
• 15-inch Riverside alloy wheels.
• ‘Vienna’ leather seats (including steering wheel and gear lever).
• Cruise control and chrome strip rings in instrument cluster, ventilation and switch knobs.
The Style package is offered at R13 000 for the 1.4 63kW Trendline and the 1.6 77kW Trendline and R9 100 for the 1.6 77kW Comfortline.
Four new colours have been added into the Polo Vivo model range:
• Sunset Red metallic.
• Blue Silk metallic.
• Pepper Grey metallic.
• Honey Orange (exclusively available with the Polo Vivo Maxx).
