Show your solidarity with #NoHairSelfie campaign

Cansa invites everyone to take part in the #NoHairSelfie movement

POLOKWANE – On 4 February, the world comes together to unite in the fight against cancer.

Every year, people across the world use this day to rally behind the cause, raise awareness and highlight progress made in cancer research.

The #NoHairSelfie Campaign is a way to support World Cancer Day.

On this day, people agree to shave their heads and post a #NoHairSelfie to show solidarity for those fighting cancer as well as to help raise money for Cansa.

There are three different ways to join the movement:

• Classic P2P Fundraising – An elite group of business leaders and influences create personal pages, set an aggressive fundraising goal and leverage social media to raise funds for cancer, culminating in a head shave and posting a #NoHairSelfie on World Cancer Day.

Or people from all walks of life raise funds via personal pages, shave their heads on 4 February and post a #NoHairSelfie on social media.

No minimum amount or registration fee.

• Digital Fundraising – Using a mobile application, #NOHAIRSELFIE APP, (shelved on iTunes and Google Play), individuals virtually shave their heads, post their #NoHairSelfie and make a donation (text to give or online) to Cansa.

• Corporate Support – Financially support the #NoHairSelfie campaign through social matches, event sponsorship and in-kind donations.

Become a Hair-ticipant – you’ve got nothing to lose but your hair.
