Luka 120 signs recording deal with LA record label

Rapper, Mashudu "Luka 120" Makhado has a reason to celebrate

LIMPOPO – Luka 120 has signed a recording deal with the Los Angeles-based record label, World Movement Records.

The 31-year-old from Madombidzha outside Makhado in the Vhembe district is the founder of Brandon Records and Soulbent Projects, and has learned to play a variety of instruments.

The label is under Lamont Patterson, he is the founder of the record label which signed artists like Charlie Star, Drew Raber, Randy Rogon, Kanya, Wylde Bunch, Beko, and comedian Dewayne Dukes.

The deal between Brandon Records and World Movement Records started around last year in November and the deal was signed this month.

Luka 120 has worked internationally in collaboration with American rapper, Pimpin Ken (Kendrik Benjamin Artist 23) who is based in North Carolina.
