Safe Bet, the latest South African film to impress critics both locally and internationally, will be released on the 11th of March at all Ster Kinekor cinemas nationwide.

The film follows Frank (Wandile Molebatsi) and his lifelong friend Khaya (Godfrey Thobejane) who come up with a plan to steal money as Frank’s father is ill and he desperately needs the money. They hear from a source that a boxing match is going to be fixed and they place a ‘safe bet’ using Frank’s boss’s money, however, it backfires and they lose the money. When Frank’s boss finds out, he tries to get his money back.
