Fun evening as residents make their own sushi

Sushi is a delicacy as it is not always readily available and is expensive

POLOKWANE – Ocean Basket Savannah Mall hosted a sushi evening yesterday (Tuesday), where patrons had the opportunity to make their own sushi.

The tables were set and included ingredients such as seaweed, rice, salmon, crab sticks, avocado and tuna, and there was a sushi chef ready to guide the participants.

All in attendance had a fun time and words like “this is fun” or “it is actually quite easy to make” could be heard throughout the restaurant.

“I would love to do this again; make my own sushi, have a glass of wine and then eat what I made. This is what I call a classy night out,” said one of the patrons, Renier van Tonder.
