It is a sweet dessert consisting of one or more layers with the main, and thickest, layer consisting of a mixture of soft, fresh cheese (usually cream cheese or ricotta), eggs, and sugar. With dessert usually being the best part of a meal, Review Bonus tried out one of Nando’s Mall of the North’s delectable desserts.
They have an array of different desserts and we were treated to their delicious Granadilla Cheesecake.
Made with a scrumptious crumbed waffle base, the cheesecake is light and creamy and doesn’t have an overpowering cheese taste. The dessert is topped off with a fruity gel that adds a burst of flavour to enhance the cheesecake.
The base is not too sweet, but combined with the other parts it is a fresh dessert that will perfectly round off any meal.
