Donate your extra PnP Super Animal cards to a good cause

Residnets are urged to donate their extra Pick n Pay Super Animal cards to the SPCA Charity Shop.

POLOKWANE – People of all ages have started collecting the informative Pick n Pay Super Animal cards. It is common for friends and family to trade cards with each other in a bid to get rid of duplicates and brag with a complete set of cards. But what to do with the rest once you have a full set?

Local resident, Lisa Kruger and her friend, Lola Botha have come up with a unique solution to the problem. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) charity shop at Savannah Mall gives out these cards in exchange for a can of cat or dog food. They suggest that residents donate their extra cards to the shop to ensure they always have cards on hand. “The more cards the shop has, the better the chance of people who come in looking to make a trade get the cards they want and the shop is a can of cat or dog food richer,” Lisa explains.

The SPCA hopes the community will support this endeavour.

“This is a creative way for residents to get involved and it is for a good cause. We don’t have a lot of cards at the moment and we hope residents will heed our call,” says Miems Cordewene, Manager of the SPCA charity shop.
