Local pageant will wow you
The Mr and Miss Seshego Pageant is back for the third year running and organisers say it will be the best show yet.
POLOKWANE – It is set to take place on 1 October at the Ramahlodi Sports Complex in Seshego and aspiring beauty kings and queens are encouraged to enter.
Founder of Paper Trail Marketing Communications and host of the pageant, Dikeledi Monyebedi, says there are great prizes up for grabs as this year’s winner will walk away with a cash prize and a trip to Sun City.
She says the event is a way of giving back to the community by creating a platform which will help those who want to kick-start their career in the beauty industry.
She wants Limpopo models to compete with models from other provinces and she believes the pageant can produce candidates who will excel on both national and international levels.
“The pageant serves as medium to empower the youth to unleash their artistic skills and talents,” Dikeledi explains, saying local artists will keep spectators entertained on the day. She encourages everyone to support local talent.
