Local beautician shares her tips on how to look good - inside and out

SESHEGO – Beautician Mokgadi Kgwele officially launched her book Beautiful Best You on Saturday at the Polokwane Library Gardens where she not only elaborated on the contents of her book but also gave the audience valuable beauty tips.

“It is important that we take care of our skin to maintain a rejuvenated texture. It must be protected from harsh conditions and we must be able to determine which products are suitable for our skin type,” she explained. She said we must also exercise and eat healthy to maintain good skin.

According to Mokgadi, the beauty tips in her book are for both sexes and she hopes her contribution to the industry will help other people look and feel good about themselves. It also discusses every day issues such as how to dress appropriately and how to look after your skin. Mokgadi is also a image consultant and she gave BONUS a few gave tips on the importance of dressing appropriately for specific occasions.

“As cliche as it sounds, first impressions count so we should take care to dress the way we want to be perceived,” she advised. “For example, if you work in an office, wear dark tones such as grey and black as they are classy and timeless.”

She said she hopes that her book will motivate people to invest in their physical appearance and, most importantly, learn to take care of their overall health.
