StreetwiZe fights unemployment
Young up-and-coming entrepreneurs, designers and musicians came together on Saturday at Mamohuba Jazz Paradise in Mankweng outside Polokwane to showcase their skills, products and their music as well through a StreetwiZe Social Market run by T-Empros.

POLOKWANE – According to T-Empros Managing Director, Samuel Mphaga, the exhibition aimed to address challenges around unemployment.
He says the focus is to provide solutions that are informative, empowering and essential to making the lives of the youth easier.
“StreetWize is where fashion, art, craft, food and music come together to celebrate, empower and encourage the youth,” says Mphaga.
Mphaga explains that the event also served as a way to enlighten and encourage bigger brands to invest in small businesses to create jobs in their communities.
“We are looking forward to make it big in 2017. However we had challenges that made the bigger brands pull out of this initiative, but we are looking at making it bigger and more interesting next year,” he says.
Among the entrepreneurs were Mamohuba Restaurant, Mevota Sounds and Bomb Squad brand.
Albert Malatjie from Mevota Sounds says this was a great opportunity for them to be able to showcase their talent and they are looking forward to such initiatives.
“These initiatives really help us a lot and we are happy that this acts as our marketing. We do believe that through this our talents can be easily exposed.
