Thabang ER promises Polokwane comedy lovers plenty of laughs

Award winning Comedian Thabang Eugene Ramasenya will be performing his #ERComedyWhatWhatHomecoming show at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World on 16 December

POLOKWANE – Award winning Comedian Thabang Eugene Ramasenya has enthralled audiences through his on-stage humour and he is fast becoming a household brand.

Better known to his fans as Thabang ER, he presents his comedy in Sepedi and English, appealing to audiences across the ethnic spectrum.

He began his on-stage career late in 2012 and politics, sport, pop-culture, South African culture are but a few of the subjects he brings to light through his on stage anecdotes.

Thabang ER won the FAME Award for Best Limpopo Comedian in 2016 and he opened for Mashabela Galane during his ‘Indeginous Punchlines’ DVD recording at the Kempton Park Theatre, David Kau at his one man show, ‘Mo Jokes’ at the Soweto Theatre, Jack Botes Hall, Polokwane and Meropa Casino, Polokwane.

He often hosts his #ERComedyWhatWhat (which started in 2014) in Pretoria and the show has featured comedic spectacles such as Mashabela Galane, Sifiso Nene, Skhumba Hlope, David Kau, Carvin H. Goldstone, Isaac Gampu and Mpho Popps Modikoane. It has also featured musicians such as Mmatema Moremi of Idols SA, Candy Tsa Mandebele and many more.

Thabang ER is set to entertain Polokwane comedy fans on Sunday, 11 December 2018 at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World with his #ERComedyWhatWhatHomecoming show. Tickets cost R150 for general access and R200 for VIP and it will be the first time the show will be hosted in Polokwane. The line up consists of mostly local comedians and the show will be giving a platform to up and coming comedians such as Tebogo Rapudi, Elaneng Skobo and Tshepiso Mogadime.
