Laser beams with Shine On
Talented hip hop artist, Maano Nefale, better known as Laser, has just released a new CD called Shine On.

LIMPOPO – Nefale (21) was born in 1997 in the dusty rural Duthuni village.
He said he got his stage name, Laser, from the types of printers back while he was a Gr 6 leaner at Nazarene School of Natural Sciences at Thohoyandou P West.
According to Laser, he took computer literacy at school.
During a lesson when the teacher asked the types of printers, ‘Laser Printer’ was the one he pointed out first every time.
“I started writing songs in Gr 6 with Ndivhuwo Masiagwala and Ravele Marubini in 2008 until Gr 8 at Thohoyandou Technical High School in the year 2010,” he added.
Laser said that there used to be rap battles in class with the likes of Glen Mafhuwa, Makondelela Unandavha, Sandi and Sibusiso Nthangeni and Mmbude Rotondwa from Muledane.
That is where Mmbude Rotondwa noticed Laser, and called him for a recording session at his studio.
In the same year, he released his first hit single titled Ri Vha Venda alongside Nature Boys.
His new CD boasts eight tracks including Cyril Ramaphosa, Easy (featuring Racha Kill), Feels Feat Flomatic, and Shine On (featuring TP).
“The song Cyril Ramaphosa shows appreciation for the Venda born man who is now the president of the country,” says Laser.
Laser said he matriculated in 2015 in Thohoyandou Technical High School and later went to Kathu in the Northern Cape.
All songs are composed by Laser, produced by Ranxbea, Edge Beats and Sean YC Roosevelt and it was recorded at Master Media Recording Company based in Duthuni village.
For live performances, Laser can be contacted 079 4050 547.
