“With this platform we not only wanted to provide a platform for musicians and artists to grow by showcasing their music talent, but we also want to bring in a new vibe of entertainment to the people of Limpopo. We started last year and so far so good, we have a lot of talent in the province and we just need a platform to showcase it and this is only the start,” he explained.

Malatji said that as a musician himself, he is able to provide up-and- coming musicians with the necessary knowledge that they need to grow, and it gives him the opportunity to grow as well, to learn from the younger generation of musicians in terms of recent trends and style so that he can be up-to-date to continue growing his brand.

“We learn from one another as musicians which is a bonus for us, so the three hours that we engage with one another is really worth it.

“As a musician who has grown over the years, I share my music journey with up-and-coming musicians in a bid to inspire and empower them to keep working hard and harness their creativity, so that they offer only the best of themselves as musicians to fans,” he added.

The sessions take place every Thursday evening. Aspiring musicians can e-mail Nokomusic1@gmail.com for bookings at no charge. Free entrance and entertainment.
