POLOKWANE – Having a braai this weekend? Want to serve something different to those average rolls?
Impress your friends by baking this easy to make Cheesy Mielie Braai Bread. The recipe is versatile so you can either make one big one or individual ones if you have the sufficient loaf tin.
Ingredients
500g self raising flour
250g cheddar cheese, grated
1 x cup frozen corn
500ml maas or buttermilk
1 x large onion, chopped
1 x KNORR Cheese and Bacon Flavour Potato Bake
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C
In a bowl mix together all the ingredients, reserving a little grated cheese.
Spoon the dough into one large greased loaf tin or two smaller greased loaf tins, top with reserved cheese.
Bake for about one hour at 180°C or until golden and cooked through.
