Neo’s vision – reach all of her goals, impact the community
Neo Sekhu's plan in life is to see herself achieve every goal she sets.
LIMPOPO – The 22-year-old from Moletjie outside Polokwane is gearing up for success and has obtained a degree in water and sanitation at the University of Limpopo. She is currently a semifinalist in the Empress South Africa 2019 pageant, which will take place at the Suncoast Casino on 16 December. The representative of Limpopo and Motofind.co.za told CV that her goal is yo win the title for her province. The fact that this will be the first pageant she competes in, does not scare her.
“I believe that it is all about ambition towards your goals and what you want to achieve in life. As a hard working, goal driven, ambitious woman, I see myself achieving every goal in my life and being able to change my society for the better. Women should never undermine and look down on themselves, because they have the ability to turn the world into a better place for all,” she explained.
She said she loves doing charity works and also giving back to her community. “We live in a poor society which needs much attention as to ensure that we live equally,” she added.
She said that winning the pageant will encourage her to achieve more and will help her to develop her community.
Sekhu said she currently collects clothes from the public and donates them to the needy people in her community.
“I want to make a positive impact in my community,” concluded Sekhu.
