Athletes from the Fun Dance Company recently stole the limelight when they competed at the Acrobatic Federation of South Africa in Johannesburg.
According to dance instructor Carina Froehlich, this was a national competition for acrobatic dance studios. She stated that all the participating dancers did exceptionally well as they managed to claim top positions in different categories.
In solos division, Evelyn Shrives scooped the first spot and received the Most Outstanding Tricks title while Mia O’Reilly got a title for Most Controlled Acrobat after finishing first in her division.
Although Ramathetje Mphahlele completed the contest on the second position, she claimed a name for Great Supple Back. After competing in duet category, the Dancing Princesses finished third but came home with a title for Gorgeous and Graceful duet.
