Catch Leisa la Maisa on Covid comedy show
Leisa la Maisa’s show will be livestreamed from the Covid-Zero stage this Saturday.
POLOKWANE – Well-known Ga Mphahlele comedian, Madibe ‘Leisa la Maisa’ Mahlatji will on Saturday, 23 May host his first online comedy show called Covid Zero.
The show will be streamed on covid-zero.co.za/leisa-on-covid/ from 19:30 to 20:30.
Mahlatji said he never planned on becoming a comedian but after he commented on various issues via voice note and his friends demanded more, his newfound career was born.
Leisa has been a comedian for almost a year now and says the support he has received has been amazing. Radio stations, he said, have also helped him gain recognition as his voice clips have been aired on Thobela FM and Metro FM.
Covid Zero tickets are available at www.heroticket.co.za and the proceeds will go towards buying care packages, which include face masks, sanitiser and food for the less fortunate.
