POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.

This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

Review has put together a list of shows you should stream on your favourite platform.

What to Watch this week on:

Showmax:

Series: Little Fires Everywhere

Little Fires Everywhere is an eight-part drama series which follows the fates of the Richardsons, a picture-perfect, privileged white American family, and an enigmatic African-American mother and daughter; Mia and Pearl Warren.

Movie: Us

The Wilson family is attacked by a family of four while they are on vacation in Santa Cruz. The people who attack them are their doppelgängers.

For the kids: The Snail and the Whale

A snail catches a lift on a whale’s tale to see the world. The snail feels very small in the vastness of the world, but saves the day when the whale is beached in a bay.

Netflix:

Series: Cursed Season 1 from 17 July.

Young rebel Nimue is armed with mysterious powers and a legendary sword and on a mission to save her people.

Movie: Patriots Day (2016).

When two bombs explode during the Boston Marathon, Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg) joins survivors, first responders and other investigators to find the suspects who did it.

For the kids: Charlotte’s Web.

A kind spider named Charlotte hatches a plan to keep Wilbur the pig off the dinner table.
