BREAKING NEWS – Outcry over Themane murder unites community, emotional crowd gathered outside court

Emotions are running high among a large crowd currently gathered outside Polokwane Magistrate’s Court in the main street where the suspects in the murder case of Thorisho Themane are supposed to appear later this morning (Thursday).
Public outcry about the death of the 27-year-old deceased on Sunday, following an attack that was seemingly videographed as it reportedly unfolded on Saturday night and later went viral, is seemingly escalating and scores of community members are converging on the court building, among others, displaying “Justice for Thorisho” placards.
The young suspects, aged 15 and 16 years respectively and according to information part of a teen gang attached to various schools in the city and surrounds, are expected to appear around 11:30, according to Provincial Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe.
That portion of the street has been closed off and members of the Public Order Policing Unit are monitoring the situation.
