It was a special day in the lives of learners of Pemps Grade R when they recently graduated at a ceremony at the school.
The Ladybirds and the Bees entertained their parents with music and songs before they received their certificates from Head of Foundation Phase, Karen Adlem.
Principal, Desiree Conradie congratulated the graduates with their milestone and said that it was a honour to take care of them and to be part of their development. “The Foundation Phase is the most important stage of a child’s life and a special breed of educators are needed to give them confidence and build personalities,” Conradie said when she thanked the staff for their hard work and dedication.
Conradie also thanked the parents for their involvement in school activities. “Don’t concentrate on giving your children money or status, just give them love in abundance,” was her message.
